The Traditionalists feel that the world is changing too fast. They believe we must look to the past to secure our future, emphasizing family, faith, and strong leadership. These three tenets will guide us to a safe and prosperous future. What the Traditionalists provide in stability is sometimes counteracted by their removal of civil liberties. Traditionalist governments are often authoritarian as they believe homogenous societies work better. In the year 2084, they have not yet been proven wrong as Traditionalist nations are some of the most powerful in the world.

DIVE DEEPER INTO THE TRADITIONALISTS
In the Future Now story world, the Traditionalist worldview dominates politics on much of the Earth, and it’s spreading. And their command of power is having a polarizing effect on humanity in the year 2084. As a result, there has been a rise in Paradisian revolutionaries, and Transhumanist terrorists. As Traditionalist values spread through the colonies, they clash against the Off-Worlders who are focused on freedom and adventure. Even the Ecclesia, the world's secret elites are worried about the Traditionalists' command of world governments.
Two New Superpowers
China and India are the Earth’s two superpowers. Both are run by broadly Traditionalist governments, however, each has its own approaches. The Chinese government is more authoritarian in nature while India allows for a more significant plurality of ideas. Read now in our community zone
The Mirror
What all Traditionalist nations have in common is their use of the Mirror: the most powerful surveillance system ever devised. All of them have a common interest in snuffing out even the faintest hint of revolutionary action.

RobAI Protocols
Are strict laws governing the design and utilization of all robotics systems in the solar system. The rule most relevant to the Drone King is that machines are not allowed to program other machines. This and every other rule are designed to keep robots in our control and factor into every aspect of their design and manufacturing.

The Traditionalists are not a monolithic entity, instead they represent a diverse subset of people who share common beliefs centered around order, family, and faith.
